I love those little alleyways off our town centre. The Grand Arcade is soul-less compared with them. They have seen our ancestors walk by with skirts touching the flags and all the fashions that followed.

H,the direct way to the pub is up Coopers Row,but it's easily seen from Millgate.

Lovley old pub, I worked there many many years ago for Harrold great Landlord loved by many.

Yes, great photo of a lovely old pub. I also love the old alleyways in the town centre, although there aren't many left now. Still very fond of the Wiend although there seems to be much less of it than there used to be.

I remember this pub opening; by two local architects.
