A great success story, Ben got himself clean of drink & drugs and is now doing something he loves. Well done Mick for supporting him.
You can donate money to help Ben on his trip here.

Good luck to you Ben. You've got everything bar the kitchen sink on that bike. Also if you have to cross water the the tires are so big that the will more than likely float you across.

I don't think he's a Lad. I suspect too much air in those tyres and to pedal so far, that seat would have to be changed. After saying that, good on him. What is the cause for?

Mick where was he coming from???

Comment by: Alan on 20th June 2017 at 06:36

I think that's an impossibility you must have to travel by sea or air to Australia.

Peter he road up from the south coast to visit his sister in Liverpool as a warm up for the trip to Australia
The photo is taken next to Scotsman flash, that night he camped out next to the canal in Appley Bridge>

Good Luck to him.

Certainly, good luck to him. He has a look of determination to him; he just might make it!
...I think anyone who has the ability to get clean of drugs and drink would have that determination, so DOUBLE good luck to him!

He shouldn't have got hooked on drink and drugs in the first place. So I see no reason to give him "a pat on the back"

comment by lynne is very uncharitable, and sanctimonious. Good luck to the lad for turning his life around. I wonder if lynne could too!
