I think this is the most potential shoppers I've seen in a recent picture of a shopping area!

Not much to say about this, the lady to the far right must work as a floor cleaner, her leggings have worn through to her knees.
Please don't tell me that's the fashion today.

Ah...a flat cap! Standard Wigan dress of 30s, 40s, and the 50s.
Like your stuff Jane, clear shots of the town as it is.
Thanks.

A very clear photo Jane. And clearly, men love to look at watches!

Vb, looking is about all that most people can do in this place.

Have they not set that Wifi free yet? As he not served long enough?

I like the photo though, it's the kind of photo that will be of interest in years to come.

Quiet day in the Grand Arcade. I wish it was so quiet when I get the chance to go shopping.

Don't you start DTease, they'd no sooner let George Davis go, but the world and his wife start jumping on the bandwagon. They'll be petitioning to let Fletcher out next. Mark my words.

The display of watches in the shop window reminds me of the occasion when I went into Baker's, the jewellers, years ago, and mentioned the Rolex watch which was on display in the window. I immediately got the undivided attention of the sales assistant. Unfortunately it was only to tell her that the stand holding this expensive watch had toppled backwards and was resting on the velvet backdrop curtain and would finish up on the floor if anyone opened the curtain!

Wigan gets better and better. One of the nicest, and forward looking towns in the north west. A town to be truly proud of.

Well said, Jinksi! Wigan is nicer and cleaner now, than at any other time in its history. A town to be thoroughly proud of.
