I recall crossing the Yellow Brook many times in the distant past when it was just a precarious narrow strip just above the water level. All it took to reach the other side was a 'hop,skip and a jump with nothing to hold onto! Just another adventure to us kids with the freedom to roam!

its used to be two old railway sleepers - not yellow anymore

walked over there many a time when mumlived at Bottling Wood. happy times
