This is a good view, where is it taken from Andrew?

Interesting viewpoint Andrew. I presume the nearer train is heading to Liverpool but it is difficult to pick out the livery of the other one. It appear to be red or maroon, do you know which rail company it belongs to? or is it a travelling post office train?

Have Post Office gone back to using rail? I thought only Tyneside still moved mail by rail.

Nice one Andrew. Looks like the train coming from Liverpool (white lights on the front) and the Manchester Airport train beyond.

I'll take a guess that the roof in the foreground is the top of Brocol House - bottom of King St. And you were on the Parish Church tower :)

I think the TPO's were finished ages ago.

The post office trains still run twice a day in each direction from Warrington.
