A tranquil scene, a beautiful and clear photo.

Different from the scene we saw at Stoke Bruerne recently...busy, busy with narrowboats up & down, locks opening & closing all the time but wonderful to see .....what a revival for canals.

So peaceful.

Good shot, Dave.

This sums up all the great things that happen when you are travelling in a narrow boat. Happy Days!

A peaceful, picturesque scene - so many different shades of green - truly lovely.

You certainly know how to take a good photo Dave. Thank you.

Wow what a scene, one of the best in all the years of looking at PaD. Would be nice to live in one of the houses beside the canal.

Comment by: John Morris on 24th May 2016 at 16:23

Another good one Dave, it's a pity the Navigation is no longer a pub. A nice walk down the canal followed by a pint is wonderful.

Comment by: . Ozymandias. on 24th May 2016 at 17:06

Is there anywhere along the canal where one can purchase a pint of Columbus doo dah ?

Comment by: Garry on 24th May 2016 at 17:14

It could be taken from a bridge, Mick.

Comment by: Mick on 24th May 2016 at 17:17

John Morris Gathurst is spoiled by that Indian, first thing in a morning all as you can smell in the valley is poppadoms and onion bhajis.
Your right A nice walk down the canal followed by a pint is wonderful.
