Great outfits by the way!

Irene, I have a fur like the one you are wearing. If it would be of any use to you it's yours. It is about 40ins long with a snap type fastener. The fur itself is good, the lining needs some repair. Ask admin for my email if you are interested.

Love the outfits. Great photo.

A great day with very welcoming and friendly people; I wish them and the café every success. Anne, I would love the fur; thankyou so much. Our Monty will be jealous!

There`s three nice smiles there.
Did you say `cheese`, Peter?
I`ll repeat my comment of 13th Mar.`16 re Baines Card in Album:-
Why isn`t Hindley pronounced with Hind to rhyme wih kind and not with Hin to rhyme with sin?

Comment by: irene roberts on 16th March 2016 at 11:13

Thanks, everyone for kind comments. Johnny and Neil....all this Fame is making me giddy; I'll have to sit down with a Barley Wine or twelve!

Comment by: Vb on 16th March 2016 at 12:27

Ernest perhaps it is because Hindley is the name of a place which has been passed down through generations of dialect which has given it that pronunciation! Cannot think of any other reason-if you know of one -please let us know.

Anne, I have contacted Admin , (Brian Elsey is the only name I could find), and he has put me onto a different Anne. Could you possibly contact Admin as you probably know who to speak to? Thanks.

Good shot Peter and great outfits. I also wish the cafe great success, but perhaps it should be called a "Speak Easy" with these two as customers LOL.

Comment by: Thomas(Tom)Walsh. on 16th March 2016 at 13:01

A fantastic photograph, 3 stars , well captured . Wishing every success to the cafe, I'll call and try it out !

Comment by: Anne on 16th March 2016 at 14:04

Irene, I have emailed Brian. The reason you got another Anne is probably because that is not my first name.

ERNEST, there have been conments re your Hind question, on album. Irene, a very nice photo, and, very colourful as well, you all look really smart.

Comment by: irene roberts on 16th March 2016 at 16:57

Now, Owdkewyed, you know witches put spells on people, don't you?......! Tom, thanks for the comment; we were at Scarborough at a forties dance at the weekend, but thought of you on your special day, and told out Yorkshire friends all about your much-deserved honour. Hope you had a fantastic day.

Comment by: MarieM on 16th March 2016 at 18:46

Peter, were you near the Market Hall today. It was either you or your double.

Comment by: irene roberts on 16th March 2016 at 19:19

No, we haven't been to Wigan today, Marie......just a walk round Abram. So Peter must have a double!

Comment by: Pw on 16th March 2016 at 20:18

The three of you remind me of characters from an Agatha Christie whodunnit, anyone of you could have done it!Well done to you all Peter for the photo.

Thankyou, Lizziedownunder. Good to hear from you, Lizzie. Don't hear as much from you as we used to. Hope all is well with you. PS, I did it, Pw, with a wine bottle in the drawing room, (but I drunk the wine first!)
