Photo-a-Day (Sunday, 14th September, 2014)
The other end
Colour, and it comes to life.
Very nice.-but my ancient brain still prefers monochrome for nostalgic pics!
Beautiful.....but I still prefer yesterday's.
Don`t like this, Dave, perhaps it would be better in monochrome!
I was riding my bike past there yesterday afternoon so its a bit run of the mill photo for me.
They are both really good pictures. They are not just record shots, but are each a work of art. Thank you so much for them.
I prefer the monochrome too. That's a lovely willow tree on the side
You'll never win, Dave...
Both excellent shots as usual...
A great picture Dave. Ignore the negative comments !
Love it Dave...beautiful reflections and well balanced....leads the eye right down the canal....yes very nice indeed...cheers!!!
Think this is a cracker. For me the tree makes it!
Lovely, but prefer the black-and-white. That was really special.
This is a really beautiful photo and as usual Dave produces the best. However, it would seem that if it is in colour then it should be in monochrome, if it is in monochrome it should be in colour. My God, can't you people just appreciate something for what it is, instead of completely focusing on all things negative. Be thankful that people like Dave post photos like this for our enjoyment, this really is a fabulous photo, why can't you negative morons see this?
I am not a negative moron, Syd; I said the colour photo was lovely, and the black-and-white too. I expect Dave posted both so that we could see the difference and I imagine he expected people to express a preference, which they have done, but almost all have said they like both, but prefer one over the other.
Ta folks :)
Like this very much.Would make a good postcard of the wigan pier.I likke yesterdays one too.
Well said Irene. Syd, there are no morons, only people. It is nothing remotely to do with be negative as Irene so rightly said, it's about preference. If anything it was your own comments that are negative.
Whatever you do Dave you will always win!.(with me anyway)
people just have different preferences
