Lovely photo Ron. This is timeless, lots of visits to the "Hall", flirting with the girls on a Sunday afternoon, lying in the shade of those trees on a hot day,
great times so long ago.

Nice photo of a very classic building. Does it get used for functions these days & is it all in as good repair as it looks to be?
Must be a real asset to the community. I never went there as a child, perhaps it was still lived in but I've been by the main gates more times than I can remember

This is a rare pick, no parked cars ,no people ,and a decent sky. A unique combination.

Many Wigganers have good childhood or more recent memories of Haigh Hall, I remember the tractor rides, feeding the fish in the ornamental pond, simple pleasures, great times!

Nice picture Ron it brings back nice memories for me when i was a young child. I have always loved going to haigh hall i can remember going and collecting the empty pop bottles so i could take them back and get the money from them so i could buy i nice cold drink on a hot summers day.

No Helen, parts of it are in disrepair, especially the top floor. There has been talk of it being sold and used maybe as a hotel i think.

Oh, I hope not, Roy! Such precious childhood memories of this place.
