Photo-a-Day (Tuesday, 8th July, 2014)
It looks great, but it is rather small isn't it. Now concerning June 9th pic. Apologies to Barbara for not seeing you, but you are half covered with ribbons, also to Katy's arm still cant see it, lastly to Neil, I thought you were a council worker on his lunch break
Absolutely lovely .... my favourite colour.
Yes, small and delicate and nice.
That's lovely Anne..Cosmos isn't it I put one in my front garden only the other week, exactly the same colour.
Lovely colour and detail.
It is Maureen. Don't think the colour varies much apart from the chocolate cosmos which smells strongly of CHOCOLATE.
Cosmos,it grows wild on the highveldt over here, looks beautiful covering large areas!
Lovely shot and plant, Anne.
Maureen's spot on, Cosmos Bipinnatus.
Fred,I bet it looks gorgeous..you lucky thing.
It's that pretty,I might get a couple more for the front garden.
Beautiful picture - such detail. It would make a great jigsaw puzzle
I don't understand Derek platt's comments, he's probably dreaming at the time he wrote this post.
Beautiful. Is it a perennial.
No Ann..it's an annual....but I'm a learner with this one,and hopefully it will produce seed for next year..we'll see.
No it's an annual, I grow from seed each year. Very easy to do.
Beautiful photo Anne..really lifts my spirits as the winter here has been very grey and wet....thank you ...cheers from cold and wet Adelaide..... :-)
One of my favourite flowers they spread and stand upto any weather ...and there are always lots of them with glorious coours.
Well Anne,I think you can see, your photo's done us all good..thank you.
