Down Town Scholes
Scholes starts over Scholes Bridge..Bottom of Millgate
Not in Harrogate St Wigan
is it me or does that scissor lift look like an accident waiting to happen, good picture though.
Good picture Mick, I like the light and the perspective. What a transformation from an ugly building!
Good photo Mick
Most of the buildings are indeed 'down town Scholes'
I dont think it's you Joe, the platform definately looks like it's a few degrees down at the back and the scissor seems to be slightly 'off' the perpendicular leaning away from the building. A very good clinical looking photo Mick, ALL the buildings look squeeky clean.
Clever photograph !
Closer inspection of the flats behind, Roy, shows the white is quickly becoming green, with moss growing on its surface.
Arthur old chap for your info I took the snap with one of my legs still cocked over my crossbar when I was on Darlington street the A577, and not Harrogate steet the A49 which you have suggested
good picture, has a very angular/geometric element to it.
Looks more like down town New York.
Does look like the green algi is making a return.
Funnily enough Mick, the address of the old police station (ie the new hotel) is Harrogate St...That is of course unless they have moved the foundations...Which I find is nigh impossible.
BTW the A49 is Wallgate-Marketplace-Standishgate...South to North, of course
Another good "jig-saw" to be tackled .good picture ...nice and clear Mjck.
