"Make the bankers pay ???!"
Leave them alone.....I've got shares in the banks !

Comment by: Garry on 12th September 2013 at 07:55

Is there anything left in the Banks with PPI payouts?

Ken , the festival took place on the Wiend area ,between The Market Place and The Life Centre . It was very well attended ,Tony Benn was to have been the main speake, but had to withdraw because of illness.

What's PPI...?

Comment by: Garry on 12th September 2013 at 10:11

Payment Protection Insurance. Have you been hibernating Rev...it's never off TV and radio about Banks so called ripping customers off.

Comment by: Anne on 12th September 2013 at 10:49

Rev. David are you the only one in Wigan not been pestered by PPI phone calls?
By the way I have a pic of Springs branch taken as far as I can tell about 1910. Are you still interested in Lower Ince pics?

Comment by: Margaret Wall on 12th September 2013 at 10:56

It stands for Payment Protection Insurance Rev Long, which was often mis-sold when people took out loans with their banks.

With baited breath I awaited the responses. ;-))

Yes, please, Anne - but why not post it here?

I'm not to sure you knew, Rev Long .

Comment by: Rev David Long on 12th September 2013 at 19:04

I'm not that other-worldly, Garry.
