Janice; Their delivery positions are a bit high lol.
Have you seen this before? :-

BOWLS FEVER

(after JOHN MASEFIELD)

I must go down to the green again, to the verdant green and the sky
And all I ask is a trim wood and a jack to steer her by

For winter`s gone and spring is here, with all it`s promised glory
And lengthening days bring light and
life and summer`s golden story

I must go down to the green again, for the call of the running bowl
Is a wild call and a clear call like music to my soul

And all I ask is a sunlit day, recalling last years weather
And a well trimmed green and kindred souls, both old and young together

I must go down to the green again, for Tom and Dick and John
Will be waiting there with rolled-up
sleeves and all lumbago gone !

And all I ask is a pleasant game, with an hour or two of fun
And a quiet rest and a peaceful meal when the final round is done

Boring!

Thanks Ernest. Not seen that before. Its is very good. Will put it up in the club house. Fred Flinstone - certainly right name for you, caveman, dark ages and RUDE. I believe pictures such as this highlight the activities available in the area - for those that know what fun is - and can be bothered. This is probably the reaction you wanted - Congrats!!!

Thanks, Ernest for the verse, really good, I am going to put it up in our club house, where the members of our bowling club will appreciate it and will not find it one bit boring!!
Good happy picture, too.
