Photo-a-Day (Friday, 23rd November, 2012)
St Wilfrids, Standish
Another lovely Autumnal photo and of course the magnificent St Wilfs, well done Dan, cheers!!!
Very good composition, Dan.
Compare this photo with Tom Walsh`s P-a-D of 26th June 2012.
See Mick`s comment at 00:11 and mine at 13:39 on Tom`s P-a-D.
Theres a video here of St Wilfrids Church with the bells ringing.
Lovely photograph Dan. You have exposed this really well. It is often hard to stop the leaves from looking to bright and 'blown' in clear sunshine. It is amazing the number of photographic opportunties that are around Wigan. I am not a Wiganer but love it.
Great photo. Very imposing.
The beautiful colour of the leaves seem reflected off the spire.
great shot dan.well done
that what you see on the spire is toxic green alge very dangerous if your a bell ringer .
Come to Norfolk Dirty Harry, plenty of ' toxic green stuff ' here but we survive !
It's not algae, it's lichen and it's harmless
