I bet all the minimum wage earning Wigan worker who where always complaining about Mr Dave Whelan wished he still owned JJB
......and your point is? Dan.
my point is that it's a photo from around Wigan.... isn't that what this is all about??
Biggest rip-off going is the minimum wage. It stops folk asking for more. Or for what they're worth.
Clever way of making folk think they're getting better pay.
I was told Dave Whelan used to put his old suits up for sale in the warehouse, does anybody know if that is true?
Skeets, this site is about pictures from around Wigan, not about making 'points'. Good pic, Dan. A nice change from Haigh Hall but a sorry story about a company that once employed many Wiganers.
Yes Linda I agree with you, nice Wigan picture, nice perspective but a cynical comment in the caption.
Is it half empty or half full!
Skeets - 'cynical'? Not if it's factual. 'Sic transit gloria mundi'.
Bill - you're right. Minimum wage has become optimum wage for too many - especially care workers.
Bill if you owned a business and employed staff how much more than what you had to give them would you give.
BRING BACK HAIGH HALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
DON`T BRING BACK HAIGH HALL !!!!!!!!!

That is just one eyesore,
