A graveyard next door is handy for those who drink too much.

Nice shot, i drove past it a few weeks ago to take the long way home from work when Manchester road was flooded close to the railway bridge in Ince.

Great picture. I just returned to Massachusetts after visiting my
Dad and brother. Walked past this pub daily on my wall from Standish to Aspull.

Ha ha ha Alan good one!! Nice building structure, you wouldn't want to get too drunk walking home through the graveyard late at night, wouldn't be much of a thriller!!!! Nice photo Tom, cheers. :-)

There is a grave somewhere in that churchyard with the date 31st April on it.

Brian from Aspull...I've got a good friend who lives in Acushnet, Mass.
Hoping to visit them sometime next year.

Thank you for kind comments. I was tempted to say I wonder if they sell Boddingtons Ales(Boddys),

Hi Bill
Acushnet - home of Titleist golf balls. Nice part of the state. I live in Leominster. You are welcome to stop by for a visit. We Wigganers have to stick together

We can confirm Irene Roberts statement that there is indeed a gravestone with 31st April on it. It's just down from the top lefthand corner of the church, as you look from the pub.
