Brilliant pic, I was round there last week, and there was someone fishing then. Wigan can be very picturesque if you know where to look.

Agree with paul b Dave, a wonderful shot, and your website shows what an accomplished photographer you are! Great depth of field from a wide aperture - how do you achieve this?

Janice - F2.8 is the lenses maximum aperture. I shot this at F13.

Hard to believe the third largest iron and steel works in Europe once stood here. Nature's taken it back. Really nice mood well captured
