Street Market
By the look of the lad in the stall - they're not selling too many.
Nice street scene photo in front of the 50 Shilling Tailors. How could you tell the difference of all thse flavours from wild boar to angus??? Then it would get smothered in ketchup or some other stuff and that would really block the taste buds.
Taken in front of the old Woolie`s", Tom.
Never tasted kangaroo, but some people jump for it!
I bet the burgers where better than mcdonalds.Notice the winter wear.
Burton was always Burton,The full Monty, KenR,The 50 shilling tailors were Weaver to Wearer or John Collier
I'll stick to bacon sausage and eggs, soaked in tomatoes, thankyou.
Bring back Voses
Venison is nice ,but it's deer!
Kangaroo Burgers taste a bit like strong pork, and just Jump off the Barbi

I had a kangaroo steak last year in ozz
Twas a bit tough and stringy
Not very good really
And they didnt cook it thoroughly
Wild boar, venison, kangaroo and ostrich....ugh. Beef and yorkshire puds anyday....perhaps i`m not adventurous enough.

Flaggy Delf...........Voses Pies from the tripe shop in standishgate opposite mark williams.Yummy yummy
FISH CHIPS PEAS STILL IN
Peter, kangaroo is meant to be rare if it was tough it had been cooked to long. I can be very nice if cooked right but it's not for everyone
Wigan pie and peas, beat this lot anyday.
They might sell a few more if they cheered up a bit. I got a wild boar burger last year, it was OK but the bloke that served me was a right miserable git.
Ref' rolo 69. Burtons did have the logo of "50 shilling tailors".
Check out Wikipedia. They bought out Colliers in 1985.
