Photo-a-Day (Sunday, 23rd October, 2011)
I underexposed this shot by 2/3rds, to give rich & well saturated colour, [a similar affect to using a Polarizing filter].
Photo: John Harrison (Panasonic DMC-G1 [ Lumix G1], Lens: 14mm to 45mm, EV: 125)
A nicely framed and colourful shot.
Where are Rabbit Rocks ?
Just about right John.
Lovely shot that!
Do you need a licence, to operate a canal boat, long boat, barge.
I have a Panosonic Lumix, I just press the shutter button i get superb pictures, cant be doing with all the waffle,
The rabbit rocks run parallel to and north of the Whelley loop line between Belle Green Lane and the canal!
I think it may be the residue from the furnaces, but you get a great view of Wigan from the summit.
Your technique has worked a treat John, great shot.
