Photo-a-Day  (Saturday, 14th May, 2011)

They're nervous birds, and it's rare to see them close together long enough to photograph. They 'police' our garden - we were plagued by magpies, until last year, when the crows appeared.

Carrion Crow, they are nervous Rev but not afraid to steel young birds from other nest to feed it's young.
Well, I suppose it is nature.
How close are you?

They are a very handsome bird...wish they'd visit our garden to keep the magpies away.
