It's that hot it's cracking the flags, yet that lad wearing shorts has got a right tea cosy of a bob cap on his head - crazy.

I thought I'd get in early on the thread before everyone starts slagging each other off! I think this series of photos are great as a 'snapshot in time' - no doubt 20 years down the line folks will say 'did we really wear that / look like that / I remember that telephone box / etc' .... just as we all do when you look at some of the older photos in the Album.
Well done! And as for someone being out with someone they shouldn't be with - well it's almost just as likely to be seen by an aquaintance out and about.

I really rejoice in the fact that we can all wear what we want - look at those old pix - hats, coats, etc, I wore school uniform for 9 years - you cannot get me into a hat ever.As for a little oldie like me, actually wearing trousers! Well done.

I think the little lad needs wheels on the bottom of that bag !!!!!!

Same here Maggie, re the uniform. I do look hilarious in hats though, with all this hair! Always good for a laugh when out shopping.
Don't forget the micro mini skirts and white boots though lol

I agree with Carol, the best photos of people are those taken without them knowing. Gives a more natural look of the people of Wigan.
