Wigan Duck

Wigan Duck
Duck I took at Hall Lane duck pond, Aspull. I don't know what kind, it could be a Wigan duck (cherry & white), just joking. Does anyone know?

I think this is a Muscovy Duck Harry.I don't think I've seen one before. It is very unusual looking.

It's a domesticated Muscovy Duck - Cairina moschata. Originally a species from Mexico.

Quite correct, Dave. Did you look at Wikipedia?

This is definitely a Muscovy duck hybrid, probably with a domesticated Aylesbury duck.
