to clarify, Main Street was chosen on purpose as Wiganers pronounce Mains street and not Mes-nes street.
The idea came from an old friend, Barbara Calderbank and I thought it was great....
Coffee shop doing very well....
In fact, the Grand Arcade opened this week and on Saturday, we registered our highest taking....
People are running away from the noise and want peace.....
Well - I for one have used "Main Street" cafe a few times and I like it. Despite the iffy name :-)
i think that "Main street" cafe is meant to be play on words!. i think it looks better than mesnes
I quite enjoyed going in here for coffee shame it closed!
