Wigan Album

Probably the oldest group in England,this group started playing and singing in 1950 ,meeting in the Springfield (St Helens )then moving to old Mo's Billinge (Masons Arms)were i first played with them in 1961.Being an Abramer i was odd man out,until we got some Garswood lads in at a later date.We still meet and play about three or four times a year in reunions .A lot of them sadly gone,one last week (Dave Parr).most now are in their late seventies ,except three or four of us who'll try to keep it going as long as we can.
