Hi Betty. How come John Lewis is not on the photo?

John only joined Kettle when Ernie left in 1971. I'm sure I've got a picture somewhere with John on, when they were in South Africa, I'll have to find it.

Hi Betty thanks for the reply. John now plays bass for us as well as the Outlaws. We played at his home last Saturday along with Winston and Alligator Joe to celebrate his birthday. It would be great if you could dig a photo out when he was in his pomp!

We were there on Saturday, fantastic day/night. John & Eddie know how to put on a good do. I'm glad I don't have to pay John's electric bill!I'll see what I can find in my photo's they are up in the loft. Betty

Hi Joan Beckett. I have 3 or 4 pictures of Winston. We played at a charity gig with them last Christmas thats when the photos were taken. If you leave me your e-mail address I will forward them to you.

I remember the good days of the Wigan Rugby Club - before it was the Riverside - when they had a regular weekly spot, as did Rainbow Cottage. I was a barmaid and we couldn`t hear the drinks orders! Happy Days.
