I lived in Hey St. and remember one of the Boyds at school age, but not much else. I think he was younger? John Sweeney from Warrington Rd Nr. the police station used to hang about with them I think.
Gladys Evans tells me this wasn't outside the Walmesley. It was outside a boarding house they were all staying in.
