Hi Bernard. Is that Winston ( John ) Higham and his sister Karen on the photo?

Sure is! It's taken at the rear of the house they occupied with their grandfather, in spring view. The building in the background was either the end house in Coronation St./ Hey St. or the banana storage on Warrington Rd.

Hi again Bernard. I know Winston very well. Sadly his brother passed away recently. I attended the funeral last Friday.

So was I, as you can see I've known the family a long time. Somewhere I have a picture of Carl, with his Bantam, at the back of the old house in Moss Lane.

Are these kids any relation to Fred & Vera Higham, Fred is a good singer, He had a motorbike and sidecar, when I had had my m/bike, I know Vera well, she used to mate with my sister.

Fred did sing (with My dad Bert Derbyshire) his bike and sidecar were split and the sidecar was kept up our stairs for years till he sold them.
