Looks like the Ball family, Ball & Yates wagon firm of Shevington.

It looks very much like the Shelby family. Someone from Shevington must have owed them a favour.

Just speculation but could it be the Earl & Countess of Crawford and Balcarres taking a jaunt around Haigh with their family?
It looks a bit posh for a regular family of that time.

Think you could be right Colin.
The chap with the moustache seated behind the driver bears a distinct resemblance to David Lindsay, the 27th Earl (1871-1940).

Thanks Les, it also occurred to me that that man stood at the side of the car could very well have been their chauffeur.
