When I was Vicar of St Barnabas, Warrington, I had an old Southdown coach which I christened The Barnabus....
Hi Rev. David, Do you have any pictures of your ex Southdown coach.
I imagine it was possibly a Leyland. A large number of the double deck
buses of Southdown had bodywork by Northern Counties of Wigan.

Yes, Ray, I have pics of it. It was a 1958 Burlingham Seagull bodied Commer TS3 - VUF932 - there are pics of it online. Sadly none of it decoking itself at speed - shooting sparks out of the exhaust.
