The chap in this picture (I can't remember his name)was an old stalwart of the Brass Band world and had emigrated to New Zealand many years before.
In this picture he was home visiting his brother & spent a lot of time with the band. Unfortunately he took ill & returned to New Zealand and sadly died shortly after
