I remember this day so well, it was my birthday and I was expecting my 3rd child! It was a boy! He is now 15, Sam! We waited ages here at Wallpaper Supplies but it was worth it. I got some lovely photos. Such a shame that she has gone . . .

I think as far as I know, this is the only photo I've seen of Princess Diana in Wigan when The Galleries were opened. Until a few years ago I didn't even know she had opened it. You'd think they'd be more photos of this event considering the amount of people there, or even some video footage; this is 1991, and I'm sure a few people would've had a video camera at that time.

I waited at the town hall to see princess Diana. I was a magical moment.
When she came out, she came across the road and shook everyone's hand. Including mine. She was beautiful, its a moment I will never forget.
