Electric trains now creeping in, somehow, to me, they didn't seem to 'vibe' and I thought they lacked a bit of character. (Just MY opinion).

mr harrison i think you'll find this isnt an electric train.it is english electric by disign "this my friend is a beast from hell" listen and you'll hear it growl DONT EVER GO NEAR ONE IT WILL TEAR YOUR SOUL APART GGGRRRRRRRRRR

paraffin can,they did make alot of noise.superceded on all passenger work by the arrival of class 47's.
i remeber a friend from the branch saying he aklways hoped to get a run at shap with these.regulator hard over and wait for the summit.
