Leaves Liverpool at 8:30 and arrives in Wigan at 1. Three and a half hours! How slow is that? Why, trains now can do it a full half hour faster :)

Being in the 18th cen. I would presume there was a BEARS PAW near to the town centre and not the one in Chapel Lane. I wouldn't have thought Chapel Lane existed then?
