Was this held at Lowton Civic Hall, if so I think that I performed and we ( Golborne Boys school ) won the competition that year.

I actually thought that Culcheth Sec. School won with "From Over The Hills".

You are probably right. Looking at the other picture you have posted that is not the play I was in. The play that I was in was called "The Hut" and we did win, but it must have been another year. Thanks for posting - brings back a few memories ( even if I got the year wrong )
