Looks like Hillman Avenger 1500 GL, the GLS had a vinyl roof and rostyle wheels. Having said that, this car may have a vinyl roof? Good photo Harry.

You're right Colin 1.5GL black vinyl roof note the expensive fog lights. This was the last car I owned with cross ply tyres.

Had a 1.6 GL avenger 1974, bodywork was bad on it even though it was only 6 years old, replaced it with an 1978 opel ascona which was much better
