This is the annual trip to Southport for 1962.
Back row, far right, half out of picture is my Uncle Stanley Wignall, going left next to him is my sister Yvonne, then me, then my sister Pat. Any other names please?

The lad to the left of the ladie with glasses is a DAVIES and the lad to the rigth of the ladies with glasses i can not remember is name but he went to HIGHFEILD SCHOOL.

Fourth from left front is Robert Winstanley on his right his Brother.Some of the commitee there.In the doorway Ronnie Webster Sid Parks Bert Hume,and President Harold Campbell.The lady at the back must have been stood on a chair,is Polly Stewart,wife of the secretary.My dad was on the commitee at the time as was Lambert Wignall not on the photo.

Tom, Lambert Wignall was my grandad, he had 7 sons over 20 odd years. My dad, Jack, is the eldest, you knew Terry, and Stanley, half out of this photo, is the youngest.

The mayor was Tommy Monks and councillor George Horrocks is standing in front of the very tall lady.

tommy monks was my grand father he did a lot for wigan council.his daughter ethel monks (laithwaite) my mum used to make chips and knit bob caps for half of worsley halls kids. great great black and white days
