the man in this picture 5th from the right is my grandad Richard (Dick) Disley. He really enjoyed being part of the bowling team and i have fond memories of watching him play at hindley bowling green.

The man at the far left with the moustache is Vincent (Vinnie) Marrow who worked with me in the High Pressure Moulding department at Turner Brothers factory at Hindley Green in the 1970's. He also bowled for Turner Brothers and the team used to get together in the "Rubber" pub at Hindley Green where Vinnie would entertain us with his stand up comedy routine. A fine man.
