them were the days good old class 25 loco . if you look carefully You can see P JONES B RODGERS and D TABENER doing there bit to keep the railways moving.

trip working was local freight movement .regular springs branch was 9t85 9 for unfitted FREIGHT T TRIP /TARGET 85

that 25is wrong line to wallgate?is it on track repairs rather than trip freight.

great observation i didnt even notice wrong line.could it be running round? Brake vans , consist and shunting pole may be clues .it would be very unlikely to be on sunday as bryn (home) has still to reach such a lofty league.

its a crane on back of the first brake van and there is another a bit further down, so think it could be a brake-down train, as the is a sidings and many derailments.
