Ah the pink elephant club !! we used to go on Sunday lunch time to watch some very poor ladies who could not afford to wear any clothes when they danced on stage, and be entertained by a man that made you laugh by telling funny stories sprinkled with his vast vocabulary of rude words.
now then our gerald, me and alan used to go there sometimes saturdays though,hummmmm i wondered where he went on sundays ha ha.
Hi, if I could upload a pic on here I would. I have in front of me a programme for "Babes in the Wood" panto I danced in as a kid. The guest stars were The Trekkers (1971). Dave Hall, Barry Riberts and Paul Nicholls are all mentioned. Fun times. I remember one of them had to slap wallpaper paste up a ballet dancers leg -part of the act. Jog any memories?
Just looking for photos as it's my dad's (Dave Hall) 70th birthday this week. these comments have made me giggle. It was probably my dad with the choice vocabulary! He's still making us all laugh :) x
