Very Very sad, and like the war heroes they should never be forgotten.

I remember the news coming through on the radio that this tragedy had just occurred. I expect many people remember where they were & what they were doing when they heard the news. A whole generation wiped out.

I was only 6 at the time but remember the day like it was yesterday, so so sad!

I called in at Aberfan in the Rhondda Valley last year on my way back from a holiday in Tenby I was videoing the area and I met a man putting floweres on a grave of his child he told me he was one of the recuers. it was so moving and so sad.
