I can pick out two players second from left on back row Tony Thorpe, and second from left on front row Tommy Green

back row extreme right, is Nigel Shaw

back row extreme left is one of Metcalfes
front roew extreme left could be richard balderstone

Peter, It does have a look of Balder but i don't remember him having black curly hair (permed perhaps). You'll see what i mean if you look at our school team photo. Album, Schools '66

Thanks Mick, I've never known someones hair get darker with age, normally the other way. He was a lovely lad at school. Are you still in contact with him?

no sorry played alongside tommy nigel rich and graham at various clubs but havnt seen them since

i remember richard from the boys brigade in platt bridge
i also played bowls with him a few years back at Wigan Subscription club

told our graham about this photo says he remembers playing for um because they couldnt get a pair of shorts fot fit him cause of his legs think it was about the time he was entering the MR WIGAN BODY BUILDING SHOW
