George Burns (back row - 1st left) grew up in West Street,is related to Brian & Ken Winstanley (twins) also of West Street (last saw all 3 late 50's).
If George is still around - ask him about the string tied to his toe.

that some him up Carol one year and i don't know if it was this it was always his birthday while we were in Ayr we got about 15miles out of AYR when he remembered he had forgot his birthday cake the hotel had made for him we turn round and go back not to everybody's liking and guess what

ronnie lived a few doors away from my mum in elgin close, he once knocked on the door and asked her to smell this tin of beans because he wasnt sure if they had gone off because they were green. (they were peas)
