If anyone has any Wigan Speedway Programmes, or memorabilia. I'll pay the going rate for anything you want to sell. I am in the process of putting together a "TALK" on the "History of Speedway in Wigan" which I will be giving to the Local History Society when we get back to some sort of NORMALITY.
Maybe a good idea would be to ask this question in New Zealand, email one of the radio stations.
They dont have a lot of news going on and love talking about the UK
I don't think anyone in new Zealand would have any Wigan Speedway Programmes. It appears that people living in Wigan don't have any..<g>

The New Zealand riders and mechanics might have kept stuff because they were on a overseas trip.
RON;when did wigan speedway move to poolstock greyhound track;as a young boy I would sometimes go to watch on Friday night.[late 50s early 60s]?
AH As the WARRIORS, they were at Poolstock on two separate occasions. 1947 and for a very short time in the early 1960's. In between in 1952 as WIGAN PANTHERS they were based at the Woodhouse Lane track

I take it that you haven't had a dekko on one of those things, Ron.
I have a few, but they were my grandfathers & too sentimental to sell. He’s put notes in of the race who won etc. I can send pictures if you like?
