The Wigan Schoolboys Under 11s team and officials ready to leave Central Park on Friday 9th of May 1975 for Wembley where they were due to play Widnes Schoolboys in the curtain raiser before the Challenge Cup final between Widnes and Warrington.

Widnes had a good day at Wembley on the Saturday with their schoolboys beating Wigan 8-0 and the big boys beating Warrington 14-7.

Back row centre (small face appearing just under the windscreen wipers) is me. Looks like you got my name wrong...It's Lawrence Foster (don't know where you got Laurence Wilson from). I played for St. Cuthbert's school along with Joe Lydon and Gerry Ainscough at the time. It would be lovely if you could correct the record.
