Who is the lad front centre who went into play for Widnes, Wigan & GB, the one middle back row who played for Warrington & GB and the one front row far right who played for Orrell, Leicester & England RU?

A guess, Joe Lydon, Mike Gregory and Peter Williams?

I give in.

I think it may be Gerry Ainscough & Mike Gregory

Joe Lydon front 4th from left; G Ainscough front furthest right; Mike Gregory just behind Joe L in dark coat ?

Peter Williams never played for Leicester. Joe Lydon front centre, Mike Gregory back centre. The only player i can think of who played for Orrell, Leicester and England is Austin Healey but he came from Liverpool and was educated there.

Forgot about Gerry, he only had one season at Leicester and only played for the England B team.

Joe Lydon, yes Mike Gregory and Gerry Ainscough. Kev Egan is there too. No Francis Claughton he was a year older but that’s his brother Alan with the glasses at the back. The other pro on there is Andy (Bill) Bailey, brilliant fullback only played pro at Blackpool Borough 2nd from left front row. Teachers are Malin, Mullaney and Cyril Smith.
