David: It would be interesting if you could enlighten us a bit more with these photographs. Names, dates and trophies won. Obviously this team were very successful during this six year period. Cheers.

A lot of local talent played for Wigan colts in the sixties and seventies, under the coaching eye of Jack Kean. Training was at Coronation Park Poolstock and a lot of the young talent that passed through this period of time failed to make a big impact on the Rugby League world. Many of them had great attributes regarding the way they played the game. When I think back and see the images of many of them in my mind, after so many years. Its hard to realize that so many excellent young players didn't make the transition from starlets to world class mature Rugby League players. It happened in the eighties, but the sixties and certainly the early seventies didn't see these young players becoming famous.
