If this was a League match then this team line up was the one that played at home against Hunslet on September 8th 1908 - they won the match 18 - 10. Only one match was lost at home that season, sadly it was against St Helens.
If however it was a Lancashire Cup match then there are 2 possibilities, November 30th 1908 against Leigh and December 5th 1908 against Warrington, both matches were won, as was the Lancashire Cup that season.
This team was Wigan's really first ever great team and set the standard for the rest of the century, a target Wigan often matched.
