Back row:- (left to right)J McCarthy (Trainer), Percy Coldrick, Wilf Hodder, Sid jerram, Van Rooyen, Hurst, F Brown, Fishwick (Trainer?).
Seated (left to right) :- Van Heerden, Johnny Ring, George Owens, Tommy Parker, Tommy Howley, Jim Sullivan, Albert Webster, H Banks.
Inset left :- Jack Price Inset right :- Danny Hurcombe

12th April, 1924 Challenge Cup played at Rochdale between Wigan and Oldham. Wigan won 21-4.(HT 8-4).Team was (1)Jim Sullivan (Full Back).(2)Johnny Ring (Winger)(3)Tom Howley (Centre)(4)Tom Parker (Centre) (5)Attie Van Heerden (Winger)(6) Sid Jerram (Stand Off)(7)Danny Hurcombe (Scrum Half) (8) Bert Webster (prop)(9)Harry Banks (Hooker)(10)George van Rooyen (Prop)(11)Fred Brown (S Row)(12)Fred Roffey (S Row)(13)Jack Price (L Forward).
