Jimmy Blears, a Wigan forward who played 127 times for the club from 1900 to 1909, scoring 7 tries and kicking two goals. He was also a member of the side that famously defeated the New Zealand "All Golds" at Central Park on November 8th 1906, 12 - 8, in front of 30,000 spectators.
