I can name all these apart from one player.I am struggling to name the player stood 5th from the left between Alex Bruce and Kevin Langley.
Can anyone help me out?

The bloke 7th from right is deffo Bob Carolgese. The bloke 2nd from left (partially hidden) could be Basil Fawlty (couldn't swear to it though)

Hi Jeff, bit of wild guess but could it be reserve keeper John Kilner?

Just come across a squad photo for that season and it appears to be a youth player named Mitchell!

Blazers and flannel trousers Jeff but very smart anyway!
Was this photo taken prior to a cup game?

Wanner - I reckon it's more likely to be Kilner than Mitchell.
Giovanni - It was taken early season just before a night Milk Cup 2nd leg tie at Bury (0-2) - 1-4 on aggregate.

Jeff. I beg to differ. That hairstyle is quite distinctive and the squad photo I have James Mitchell apprentice bears more than a resemblance.

John Kilner final answer - look at Bangor City Players 1945-1992 which has a picture of Bolton born John, and it certainly looks like him in this picture.

It's John killer, played with him at PNE, then years later his brother Andy played for me at Chorley FC
